Over the past 5 years, LNG has been one of the hottest topics of discussion at many conferences and trade shows.  In the US, we originally were set up to import LNG because our own natural gas prices where much higher than other Gas producing countries.  Then, over the past 10 years, it was becoming more and more economically viable to consider exporting our vast supply of Natural Gas.

There are a handful of large-scale LNG Export Terminal projects in the US however, there are some very positive indicators that there will be approvals for additional LNG export terminals in North America.  Again, with the Shale boom, and the infrastructure being put in place to bring the Natural Gas to LNG export terminals, we are looking forward to seeing addition mega-projects getting approved and moving forward in the years to come.
